At the heart of this machine is Newtech’s patented tension-control lever located on the rear-right side of the unit. This innovation completely changes how ankle-cuff cable exercises are set up:
- Pull the lever toward you → Cable loosens and creates slack, making it extremely easy to attach the Newtech ankle cuff without crouching near the pulley or wrestling with tension.
- Once the ankle cuff is secured and the user is in proper position, push the lever forward → The mechanism locks in place and automatically removes slack, producing immediate, full-range tension from the first rep.
This system eliminates the awkward, injury-prone setup process found on standard low-pulley machines and ensures a consistent starting stretch at the glutes and hamstrings every time.
Multi-Position Knee Pads – Adjustable and Convertible
The dual kneeling pads offer a secure and comfortable base for loaded hip extension. Each pad:
- Clicks upward into a fixed, locked position
- Clicks downward completely out of the way
